The GSCSK8 2025 skateboard deck MURDER was inspired by a beloved murder of crows that live in the mango tree next to the balcony of the artist, Alia Sinha (you can check out her work here ) in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi.
Alia and i would feed these crows, and they’d bring all manner of weird crow gifts to us, sometimes strange shiny things, sometimes random animal bones 😀 we decided to immortalize them in this wonderful work of art that she made.
If you weren’t aware, “murder” is the collective noun for crows 🙂 these illustrated boys are the Indian crow, also known as the house crow (Corvus splendens) they’re super smart! Some of the smartest avian creatures known to man. Geniuses at problem-solving. Because crows demonstrate so many unusual kinds of intelligence, they’re occasionally referred to as “feathered apes.”
Get one for your setup, or your wall! The deck is strong, has great pop, and is great to skate because of it’s high concave shape. It’s the kind of board we like to skate here at the Gwalior sickness centre 🙂
